We are a 'Cow with Calf Micro Dairy'

What does that mean?

- We keep our calves with their mums until a natural weaning age. We only sell the milk that is spare- there is plenty to go around!

-We are referred to as a micro dairy as we are so small in comparison to a 'normal' dairy farm, we are only milking 16 cows, where as some farms can milk 200+! (some may even have over 500!!)

-All of our cows are named individually, and they all come to call when its time for them to be milked!

-All the calves born at Greenoaks stay with their mums until a natural weaning age, they then remain with us on the farm until they are around 2 years old when we send them off to a local butcher and then sell them as our 100% grass fed beef.​
