We are a family run micro-dairy, producing raw and pasturised, un-homogenised milk from our cow with calf dairy.

Baby Dolly, born early Sunday morning last week. She’s been doing really well, although her mum, Demelza, was a bit poorly after giving birth but is thankfully recovering well! We love Dolly’s very striking facial markings!

It’s been so busy I forgot to post about little Brianna, Annie’s latest calf, who was born a few weeks ago! She’s so pretty, especially now she’s outside she practically sparkles in the sunshine she has such a shiny coat!✨

Meet our latest little double act, Bonnie and Clyde!
These two were born within days of each other and have become the best of friends, and love to cause chaos around the farm😜
Blossom gave birth to Clyde first, the slightly darker of the 2 calves, and then Crumble had Bonnie out in the field which was a nice surprise for us to find one evening!

We’ve had a rush of calves here at the farm! The first one to introduce to you all is Cora, Elsie’s latest arrival. If any of you remember, last year Elsie surprised us all by giving birth to twins, so I think she’s very pleased to only have one baby to keep an eye on this time!

Due to all our outgoing costs continuing to rise, we are having to increase our prices from the 1st of June.
We have held off for as long as we can, but we unfortunately no longer have a choice.
Going forward the prices will be:

Milk:
1 pint - £1.50
1 litre- £2.50
2 litre- £4.50

Milkshakes:
1 pint- £2.00
1 litre- £3.00
2 litre- £5.50

Meet Prudence, the latest arrival at Greenoaks. Now she may be small (she has the most adorable tiny head!) but she certainly makes her presence known! From almost the day she was born, she decided she wanted to accompany her mum, Mavis, at milking time (most babies prefer to stay on the cosy straw bed and keep sleeping!) and loved to cause chaos in the parlour by getting up on the block or just simply running round having a blast😆

Cuteness overload!😍 Meet Panda, who is just so adorable!
Freida has been very patient with him as it took him quite a while to learn where milk came from😂 but after a few days of being supplemented with a bottle he soon figured it all out!🐼

It’s been so busy here, I completely forgot to introduce you all to (not so!) little Bertie!
Doris gave birth to this giant calf a few weeks ago, with a little help from us, just to help him not get stuck. The second photo was taken a few hours after he was born, you can see what a chunky monkey he was!

We had to wait a while to show you guys this gorgeous new arrival, as he was born when it was so cold, so spent the first week wearing his little coat, and we couldn’t post photos of him without showing off his gorgeous markings!

Over the past few days we’ve received a number of messages in regards to the news surrounding Arla’s trial of feeding Bovaer.
We do not give our cows anything like this, and have no plans to be introducing it.
Our beef cattle are 100% grass fed, and our dairy cows have nearly a 100% grass fed diet, they just have a small amount of hard feed to keep them entertained whilst being milked.
Here’s a lovely photograph taken by @chloebolamphotography of them all enjoying the grass in the sunshine during the summer!

Last week we welcomed little Merlin into the world, unfortunately in very tragic circumstances as his lovely mum, Magic, passed away due to complications.
We started to bottle feed Merlin, and also decided to bring Custard and baby Minnie (the youngest of our calves although still a lot older than Merlin) into the barn with him just to give him some company.
Custard has been amazing and has adopted little Merlin as one of her own, even letting him drink from her, which is more than we could have hoped for! Merlin and Minnie have become good friends too, so we thankfully have a happy end to a very sad story.

The latest arrival on the farm, Custards first calf at Greenoaks, Minnie (Minerva)! Born at the end of July.
It was quite a difficult delivery with a few complications, but thanks to @cheshirefarmvets both Custard and Minnie are doing very well!

And finally we have Dean! Roobarbs first calf at Greenoaks. I think he needs to grow into his eyes as he currently always looks a bit startled 🤣I’ve tried to pick his most photogenic angles🙈

Next up we have Molly! In typical Dotty fashion, she gave birth to Molly out in the field all by herself. She’s a very independent cow and always likes to wait until no one is around to interfere! Mollys favourite thing to do is go to sleep hidden behind the quad bike during milking, and then once Dotty has been milked, she goes and fetches her so they can go back outside again together.
